Legacy Endowment

Board Members

Who We Are:

Legacy Endowment began in the name of philanthropy, in 1994, with the pledge of investing donors' funds and creating a "Living Legacy" to charities that are dear to donors' hearts.

Our mission is to be a dedicated steward of your gifts. We work closely with our investment advisors concerning investment of the funds entrusted to us - with the goal of enhancing a higher quality of life for our communities now and for the generations to come.

We are a tax-exempt charitable organization (organized as a non profit California public benefit corporation), recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public charity. That status allows us to accept contributions, from donors, that are designated to go to their favorite charities, and also allows the donor tax deductions.

As Legacy Endowment grows, so do the charitable gifts to our community. In the 11 years that we have been a part of your lives, we have grown to be the caretakers of $8 million in funds. Each year, we distribute funds to various charitable organizations that, ultimately, affect each and every one of us.

In addition, we educate both individuals and charities on the benefits of philanthropic giving. Our services include counseling on how to use a variety of tax-advantaged charitable techniques to maximize both the benefits to the charity and the lifetime benefits to the donors.

As a nonprofit organization, we have direction from a dedicated, non-paid Board of Directors whose direction is implemented by our Executive Director and by non-paid officers of the corporation. Each Board Member is serving this community with a passion...a commitment to the cause of improving life for others.

We encourage society to endow future generations with a better quality of life by imparting beliefs and values that are exemplified by the benefactor. This approach to philanthropy encourages you to direct your gift to a charity that has special meaning to you.
